Overview:
This position will serve as a dual role of Bereavement and Volunteer Coordinator.

- Coordinate the assessment and delivery of grief counseling needs and services to ensure timely and appropriate services are provided
- Plan for Bereavement Program development, expansion and refinement through annual evaluation of services
- Provide bereavement support to hospice personnel coping with work-related grief
- Provide bereavement information and referral services to callers from the community
- Participate in interdisciplinary group meetings
- Ensure compliance with all state and federal legal and regulatory requirements
- Additional responsibilities as assigned
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent theological degree or Master’s degree in Social Work with qualifications of experience clinical grief counseling
- Understanding of grief response and experience with counseling individuals and/or groups in loss
- Experience with death and dying
- Knowledge of the hospice philosophy of care
Salary : $25 - $28
