System Director-Radiology

The System Director-Radiology provides overall system direction and guidance to the operational activities within the service line with the objective of maximizing quality, growth, and profitability. Responsible for overall system radiology leadership and performance of the service line. Responsible for ensuring efficiency, effectiveness, and fiscal responsibility of radiology areas throughout HSHS.

Education

Master’s Degree in Radiology related discipline is required.

May consider a bachelor’s degree in Radiology related discipline or health administration with at least 5 years of leadership experience in lieu of degree.

Experience

7 years of leadership demonstrated leadership experience is required.

5 years of Radiology experience is required.

Certifications, Licenses and Registrations

Licensed Radiographer or Radiologic Technologist in the state of practice if applicable is preferred.

Certification by American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT), American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS), ARRT (Nuclear Med), Nuclear Technology Certification Board (CNMT) or Registered Nurse (RN) licensure is preferred.
