Summary : This is an entry level position that will work as a laborer maintaining streets, culverts and drainage systems as assigned. This position on occasion will operate equipment used in maintaining road systems. Requires valid Arkansas drivers’ license and clean driving record with proof of liability insurance.

This job requires general knowledge of water distribution and wastewater collection systems. Must be able to work nights, weekends, and holidays if needed. Must have ability to perform strenuous work in varying weather conditions. Must have the ability to follow oral and written instructions.
Education and / or Experience High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or related experience and / or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Language Skills Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions.
Mathematical Skills Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.
Reasoning Ability Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one- or two-step instructions. Ability to deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations Requires a valid Arkansas driver's license, and clean driving record with proof of liability insurance.
