What are the responsibilities and job description for the Box Office/Host position at Hotbed Comedy Club and Bar?
Hotbed is a comedy club and bar as well as the new home of Underground Comedy, DC's premier independent comedy production company. After seven years and thousands of shows at The Big Hunt, Underground Comedy moved to Adams Morgan.
We are looking for a Host with an interest in working in a fast paced environment, and a knack for guest experience.
Responsibilities
- Managing reservations to the comedy shows
- Answering the phone to the bar/comedy club while working
- Assisting customers with questions
- Checking-in customers to the show
- Selling tickets to customers and handling administrative tasks
- Keeping the front room organized in between customer rushes
Requirements
- Customer oriented
- Able to muti-task and handle high pressure situations
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From $20.00 per hour
Schedule:
- Evening shift
- Weekends only
Work Location: In person
Salary : $20
