We are a small boutique hotel seeking a talented Innkeeper Resident Hotel Manager (Couple) to join us in a secluded coastal town in Northern California!

This position will oversee operations of a 12 unit Inn located in small coastal town in Northern California.
Position requires strong customer service skills, as we are heavily focused on customer service and support.
The Resident Hotel Manager will be provided with a 2 bedroom apartment.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Supervise & direct staff including Housekeeping, Laundry, Maintenance.
Hires/trains staff and conducts performance evaluations.
Maintain excellent communications with staff to encourage and promote positive working relationships.
Assigns and monitors the housekeeping and maintenance of the hotel via inspections.
Directs preventative maintenance programs to ensure that there is a high level of maintenance in the rooms, common areas, service areas and exterior grounds.
Answers guest complaints and resolves problems as to exceed guest expectations.
Reviews online feedback via TripAdvisor, Expedia, Booking.com, etc. and responds appropriately.
Front Desk duties include managing multiple telephone lines, selling rooms, taking reservations, and assisting guests.
Has in-depth knowledge of the local area with its various attractions.
Resident Hotel Manager is on-call after hours and must be reachable by guests.
Qualifications & Skills:
Resident Hotel Manager must live onsite to guarantee the safety and supervision of the hotel.
Excellent customer and personal service.
Experience with hotel property management systems.
