Hotstart has an opening for a Purchasing Agent (Buyer II). This role requires demonstrated experience in supply chain management, vendor relations, and cost-effective purchasing practices. The Buyer II works closely with internal teams to ensure timely delivery of high-quality materials while maintaining optimal inventory levels. Additionally, the Buyer II identifies and proposes new supply chain solutions, evaluates supplier quotes, and recommends desirable supply choices.

Key Responsibilities :
- Source, evaluate, and select suppliers based on quality, cost, delivery, and reliability criteria.
- Negotiate pricing, contracts, and terms with vendors to achieve cost savings and favorable agreements.
- Issue purchase orders and manage order tracking to ensure timely delivery of materials and components.
- Monitor supplier performance and resolve issues related to delivery, quality, or service.
- Collaborate with production, engineering, and inventory teams to determine material needs and priorities.
- Evaluate inventory levels for products and supplies and monitor trends to determine order points and purchase quantities.
- Identify opportunities for cost reduction and process improvement in the procurement cycle and recommend strategies to enhance efficiency.
- Collaborate with accounting and suppliers to address discrepancies with invoices, purchase orders, or shipments.
