Summary
We are seeking a Human Resources Generalist to join our team. This role is pivotal in supporting our commitment to employee satisfaction and operational excellence. The Human Resources Generalist will be responsible for various HR functions that contribute to the overall success of our workforce.
Responsibilities
- Perform the routine tasks required to administer and execute human resources programs including, but not limited to, EEO, I-9, new hire reporting, FMLA rights and responsibilities, payroll, benefits, disputes and investigations, recognition, training and development.
- Coordinate with in-house recruiter on job postings, onboarding new employees, including background checks, eligibility verifications, assisting with orientation and ensuring all necessary follow-up administrative and paperwork are accurately completed in a timely manner.
- Administer employee benefits programs and ensure compliance with regulations.
- Maintain knowledge and compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations
- Maintain knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technology in all areas of human resources.
- Support talent management initiatives to foster employee development and retention.
- Assist with weekly payroll when necessary.
- Foster a positive work environment, partnering with operations to address employee concerns.
- Attend and participate in employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations.
- Maintain employee records and HR databases with accuracy and confidentiality.
- Provide administrative support for HR-related tasks as needed.
Requirements
- Associate degree in Human Resources or related field required.
- 2 years' experience in human resources management or generalist role.
- Strong knowledge of benefits administration.
- Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and confidentiality.
