Howard University Hospital seeks to hire a Staff Accountant II who will embrace our rich and historic tradition of excellence.
Hours are : Monday-Friday 8 : 30am-5 : 00pm.
Pay Range : $27.31-$43.69
The Staff Accountant II :
- Performs balance sheet and income statement reconciliations, prepares and posts standard journal entries, and performs account analyses to respond to customer inquiries regarding general ledger balances
- Contributes to the production of HUH’s internal financial report book and responds to standard requests for information during the conduct of HUH’s annual financial statement audit.
- Maintains and controls the accounting records assigned
- Responsible for ad hoc reporting, including revenue / expense analyses and pro-forma analyses, as needed.
- Effectively participates in the financial statement close meeting for the hospital
