Just so you know, your initial months will involve training during the 1st shift hours from 6 am to 2 pm.
Here's a glimpse of your daily endeavors:
- Master TIG welding on diverse metals, adhering strictly to predetermined specifications and intricate blueprints.
- Efficiently manage GTAW welding gear, air tools, and related apparatus to achieve precision welds.
- Uphold excellent equipment standards by monitoring, cleaning, and repairing welding tools while ensuring argon gas performance.
- Examine welds for adherence to high-quality industry and company benchmarks.
- Quickly diagnose and mend welding glitches, ensuring minimal interference with production timelines.
- Collaborate effectively with cross-department teams—designers, engineers, and fabricators—to bring innovative ideas to life.
- Strictly abide by safety standards to foster a secure and productive work atmosphere.
- Meticulously maintain comprehensive records documenting all welding activities.
Qualifications we seek:
- High School Diploma or GED as a foundational requirement.
- An impressive 3 years of TIG welding expertise; additional vocational training or certifications are a significant plus.
- Demonstrated prowess in TIG techniques and systems with an aptitude for manual GTAW remote controls.
- Preferably experienced in addressing casting defects and seamless welding techniques.
- Robust understanding of gauges, measurements, and diverse materials used in welding fields.
