Assistant Controller - Multi Strategy Investment Firm - VC, Hedge fund, PE
I'm working with one of my favorite clients to hire an Assistant Controller, Corporate Accounting for their team. The firm is a coveted multi-strategy asset management firm with multiple billions in AUM and portfolio companies across several different industries.
You'll report directly to the CFO and work with investment team leaders on a daily basis.
The Assistant Controller, Corporate Accounting will have a counterpart on the Fund Accounting side of the house and will manage a team of Senior Accountants.
You need:
- 5-9 years of progressive accounting experience
- Accounting industry experience in PE, VC, Asset Management, or Hedge Fund
- Experience managing at least 1 direct report or ideally more
- Preference for candidates who started their career in public accounting/big 4.
- CPA preferred but not required
Compensation: $170-$185k base cash bonus and flexible for the perfect candidate
Hybrid: In office 3 days per week (2 days work from wherever you'd like)
Salary : $170,000 - $185,000
