Job Title : Assistant Controller

Location : West Palm Beach, FL

Compensation : $130k-$170k base plus Bonus

Job Type : Full Time

What We're Looking For :

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • 7 years of experience in fund accounting, private equity real estate and / or real estate investment funds strongly preferred
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Proficiency in Excel and fund accounting software (e.g., Yardi or similar)

    • What You'll Be Doing :

  • Oversee fund accounting operations, including preparation and review of financial statements, capital calls, and distributions
  • Ensure timely and accurate reporting to investors, management, and external auditors
  • Prepare and review quarterly and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP
  • Manage fund-level cash flow, budgeting, and forecasting processes
  • Coordinate with asset managers to analyze fund and property-level performance
  • Support the valuation process for fund assets, ensuring compliance with policies and investor expectations
  • Assist with fund audits, tax reporting, and investor communications
  • Partner with the Controller to improve processes and support strategic initiatives

    • Salary : $130,000 - $170,000
