Given a recent and major new financial partnership agreement, this quiet, yet industry innovator with an excellent business model and cash flows to match, is looking to add another ambitious senior manager to the team.
Working together with a tenured Accounting team, this role will be responsible for overseeing the accurate and timely preparation of financial statements and reports, ensuring compliance with accounting principles and industry regulations.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the preparation and distribution of financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, in accordance with relevant accounting standards
- Coordinate with various departments to gather necessary financial data for reporting purposes.
- Assist with general ledger and month-end close responsibilities.
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
- Ensure compliance with accounting principles, industry regulations, and legal requirements.
- Establish and monitor internal controls to safeguard financial data and prevent errors or fraudulent activities.
- Collaborate with external auditors during the audit process and address audit findings or recommendations.
- Communicate financial results and analysis to senior management, investors, and regulatory authorities.
- Implement and maintain financial reporting systems to streamline the reporting process and improve efficiency.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and actively participate in finance-related projects.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting
- CPA and or a mix of public accounting and private industry experience
- 8-15 years experience
- Experience auditing or working directly for a Private Equity owned company ideal
- Proven experience as a Financial Reporting Manager or similar role, with 3 years of experience in financial reporting and analysis.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Ability to work cross-functionally with Operational leadership as well as others across the Accounting/Finance organization of a multi-state/site operation
- Ability to supervise and lead a small team of 2-4
Salary : $120,000 - $140,000
