Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the accounts payable process, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices, payments, and vendor relationships.
- Supervise and manage a team of accounting professionals, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment.
- Ensure the integrity of the accounts payable ledger and reconciliation of transactions within the ERP system.
- Assist with monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing processes, including the preparation of financial statements and reports.
- Collaborate with various departments to resolve any discrepancies and ensure proper coding of expenses.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, company policies, and accounting standards.
Qualifications:
- 5 years of experience in accounts payable or a similar accounting role.
- Proficiency with ERP systems; experience with Yardi is strongly preferred.
- Previous management or supervisory experience of an accounting team.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
- Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Salary : $120,000 - $160,000
