We are currently hiring a Full-Time Optical Machine Operator - Day Shift ( Mid-Shift)
*Work schedule is (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday 1:00pm - 9:30pm)

Job Responsibilities:
· Prepare and clean lenses to load into trays for processing.
· Ensure lenses are clean of dust and debris.
· Loading, sorting and prepping lenses for processing.
· Monitor machine status for auto surfacing line that generates Rx prescription.
· Use or load specialized coating machines to add treatments to surfaced lenses.
· Set up lenses into racks, feed, or load lenses into machine.
· Visual inspection of the lenses after process.
· May include inserting completed lenses into frames.
Qualifications:
· High School Diploma or GED.
· Experience in the Optical Industry as it relates to ophthalmic lenses is a plus.
· Must be willing to work overtime when needed (may include weekends or holidays).
· Able to read and write English language.
Physical Requirements:
· While performing the duties of this job, most positions will require the employee to stand and use hands to manipulate or handle lenses or lab trays.
· The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.
