Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Custodian to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various facilities, ensuring a safe and pleasant environment for all occupants. This role requires attention to detail and a commitment to high standards of cleanliness.
Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, and common areas to ensure hygiene standards are met.
- Perform floor care tasks including sweeping, mopping, buffing, and waxing as needed.
- Conduct routine inspections of facilities to identify maintenance needs and report issues promptly.
- Maintain cleanliness in both residential and commercial settings, adapting techniques as necessary.
- Assist with custodial tasks such as trash removal, dusting, and window cleaning.
- Support industrial cleaning efforts by utilizing appropriate equipment and safety measures.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operations and high-quality service delivery.
Skills
- Proficient in various cleaning techniques including buffing and floor care.
- Experience in facilities maintenance is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of residential painting is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with commercial cleaning practices and equipment is advantageous.
- Excellent time management skills to effectively prioritize tasks throughout the day.
