Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and skilled forklift driver to join our team. The forklift driver will be responsible for operating a forklift to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise in our warehouse or production environment. The ideal candidate will be safety-conscious, detail-oriented, and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts to move materials and products within the warehouse or production area.
- Loading and unloading trucks and shipping containers
- Receiving, counting, and storing incoming materials and products
- Maintaining inventory records and conducting cycle counts as required
- Ensuring safe and efficient operation of the forklift and complying with all safety regulations and guidelines
- Keeping the work area clean and organized
- Perform inspection service to our client
- Participating in other warehouse or production-related tasks as needed
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid forklift operator certification
- At least one year of experience operating a forklift /reach truck in a warehouse or production environment
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changes in priorities and tasks
Working Conditions:
The forklift driver will work in a warehouse or production environment. The work may require the driver to lift heavy items and stand or sit for extended periods. The forklift driver will need to work safely and adhere to all safety regulations and guidelines while operating the forklift.
