Key Details:
- Location: Swan Island – North Portland
- Pay: $45,000-$52,000

- Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:30am–4:00pm, onsite
What You’ll Do: Our Inside Sales Representative is key in maintaining favorable relationships with our current and potential customers, making sure they’re taken care of by working with the Sales Manager, Purchasing Manager, and Warehouse.
A typical day will consist of:
- Taking sales calls from current customers
- Looking for opportunities from sales calls and web inquiries
- Working with the Sales Manager and Purchasing Manager to provide quotes and follow up
- Providing superior customer service to customers and suppliers
- Entering sales orders, and communicating delivery information to customers
- Providing support for the Purchasing Manager by purchasing as necessary
- Ensuring timely fulfillment of orders by expediting orders as necessary
- Communicating with customers about any past due orders
- Authorizing customer returns, complete RMA’s and communicate info to VMI/Receiving
- Working with accounting to create credits for customers
- Supporting warehouse operations by providing good information/notes/dates on all orders
- Reviewing and updating customer information and contacts per accounting criteria
Who You Are: The ideal candidate is someone who enjoys providing solutions, organizing competing priorities, interacting with customers and can successfully partner cross-departmentally with their excellent communication skills.
Other qualifications include:
- High School diploma or equivalent required
- Account management experience preferred (fastener experience also preferred)
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office suite
- Complete understanding of ISO procedures
- Willingness to partake in a pre-employment background check and drug test
