We are working with Quandel Enterprises, a family of construction companies known for their excellence in the industry since its inception since 1882, in seeking a ROCKSTAR Recruiting Assistant.
The Recruiting Assistant supports the recruitment team by managing administrative tasks essential for attracting and hiring top talent. This role involves posting job openings, screening resumes, scheduling interviews, and coordinating with hiring managers to ensure a smooth recruitment process. The assistant also maintains applicant tracking systems, helps with candidate communications, and ensures that all
recruitment-related documents are accurate and up to date.
Responsibilities/Essential Functions:
- Prepare and post jobs on various job boards, the company website, and social media platforms.
- Monitor and update job postings within the Applicant Tracking System.
- Assist with reviewing resumes and applications and sending them to the hiring managers based on role requirements.
- Leverage both internal and external hiring sources to build a qualified candidate pool for open positions.
- Enter and update candidate information in the ATS and maintain organized records of hiring stages.
- Serve as a back-up for conducting phone screens and scheduling interviews with hiring managers both on-site and in-person.
- Prepare and send out offer letters or other official communication as needed.
- Assist with the new hire onboarding process including background checks, pre-employment drug testing, and onboarding material preparation.
- Assist the recruiter with partnerships at local schools to facilitate internship availability and recent graduate hiring.
- Assist with career fair scheduling and preparation.
- Update positions descriptions for existing roles and create descriptions for new positions.
- Assist the HR department with additional administrative needs as required.
Required Education, Training, or Certification(s):
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver’s license.
Required Experience and Skills:
- 1-2 years of recruiting or recruiting assistance experience is preferred but not required.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Must be extremely detail oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.
- Broad-based computer skills, with working knowledge of Microsoft Office Programs and Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS).
- Self-motivated, with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
