What are the responsibilities and job description for the Inside Sales Proposal Coordinator position at HRST, Inc.?
The primary responsibility of this position includes heavy administrative coordination and technical capability to push opportunities through the entire sales cycle. It starts with ensuring all leads / opportunities are identified and entered into NetSuite, researching drawings to ensure all required information is compiled for proposal, and providing end-to-end proposal oversight by preparing proposals, revisions, and submissions through ConnectWise. A successful candidate is a highly organized team player, motivated by helping teams succeed, can deliver high quality work, take initiative, and meet defined deadlines.
Essential Functions :
- Opportunities :
o Handle inbound sales inquiries from customers, field personnel, conferences, and other sources and ensure client needs are understood and correctly entered into NetSuite
o Implement methods to identify sales opportunities from onsite work and reports
o Compile information required for a proposal by reading drawings and data sheets, reviewing inspection reports, and communicating with clients
o Maintain NetSuite system with up-to-date information, due dates, and pricing
o Prioritize opportunities and ensure every lead is addressed
o Maintain a high level of knowledge about the company’s products and services.
o Prepare and send standard proposals to clients.
o Collaborate with other departments to develop complex proposals.
o Manage follow-up processes to and collaborate closely with engineers, product owners, and region managers to keep opportunities engaged and moving through the sales pipeline
o Work independently with minimal supervision, managing your time effectively to meet deadlines and deliver high-quality proposals under pressure.
o Identify and implement improvements to the proposal templates and process
o Maintain and update the CRM with accurate customer and sales data
o Act as go-to authority in the use of ConnectWise CPQ
formerly ConnectWise Sell (CWS) :
Act as HRST’s liaison with ConnectWise.
Identify, develop and implement CWS features for the benefit of HRST.
Train other HRST employees on CWS.
