What are the responsibilities and job description for the Lifeguard position at HRYMCA?
Hampshire Regional YMCA is a community hub offering diverse programs and classes to our members. We are currently hiring lifeguards to help keep our members safe in our two pools. Lifeguards are responsible for the direct supervision, control, organization, and safety of all participants in the pool and pool area.
Job Duties:
- Surveil pool and members using pool for safety
- Test pool chemicals throughout shift
- Maintenance and use of pool vacuum
- Prevent accidents and minimize hazardous situations in and around the pools
Qualifications:
- Current CPR, First Aid, AED, and Lifeguard certification
- Minimum of 16 years of age
