What are the responsibilities and job description for the CNC Programmer position at HTI?
Direct Hire CNC Technician Programmer for an established manufacturer in the Charleston, SC area. Qualified candidate will have 5 years experience as a CNC Machinist and Programmer. Expertise using Okuma CNC Machines is required. Pay is $35 hr DOE with full benefits. 1st SHIFT with flexible hours!
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 5 or more years of experience in CNC programming and operation, very strong knowledge skills. Familiarity with Okuma CNC machines is preferred.
- Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
- Excellent attention to detail and quality control
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Willingness to work flexible hours as needed to meet project deadlines
- Ability to understand work orders and drawings and to follow detailed instructions.
- Proficiency with micrometers and other common measuring instruments.
- Mechanical aptitude and ability to use simple hand tools.
Salary : $35 - $38
