Full Time - Remote - Applications Analyst (ERP/Finance)
The Applications Analyst is a finance and technology generalist/specialist responsible for aligning technology solutions with business strategies. Analysts are responsible for acting as a financial systems / ERP subject matter expert and identify opportunities to enhance employee experience taking into consideration functionality, costs, benefits, and implementation requirements. The Analyst functions as technical liaison with business, technology and vendor teams. This role acts as internal consultant, providing technical guidance or business process expertise on the most complex projects or researching strategic planning matters from a technical or business standpoint.
- Experience with financial modules within ERP system(s), with a strong understanding of the functions and capabilities.
- Thorough understanding of all aspects of research finance, including grants, funds, and project accounting as well as direct and indirect burdens.
- Strong accounting acumen.
- History of data analysis and reconciliation
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:
- Strong technical knowledge and ability to express complex technical concepts in terms that is understandable to the business
- Understanding of project management concepts in planning and implementing multiple projects in a cross functional environment.
- Strong analytical and conceptual skills; a demonstrated track record in new concept development for various projects and complex technical plans.
- A technical understanding of the ERP data models
- Experience in business process re-engineering or process improvement
- Experience in the strategic use of technology in managing and growing a business.
- Implementation, configuration, and upkeep of financial and budgeting systems
Salary : $110,000 - $125,000
