## Job Overview
The Lead Landscaper will oversee and execute a variety of landscaping projects and irrigation solutions ensuring high-quality results and client satisfaction. This role requires a strong background in landscape maintenance, design, and management, along with leadership capabilities to guide and support a team of landscape technicians. We are currently looking for someone with 2 or more years of experience in both Landscaping and Irrigation and has experience as a Lead.

## Duties
- Build retaining walls, install pavers and flagstone, install turf and sod, general hardscaping
- Supervise and lead a team in completing landscaping projects
- Build and maintain irrigation systems

## Requirements
- Experience in general hardscaping and installations.
- Ability to lead and supervise a team effectively
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Knowledge of landscape equipment operation and maintenance

## Key Responsibilities:

Project Management: Plan, execute, and oversee landscape projects from start to finish, ensuring adherence to design specifications, timelines, and budgets.

Team Leadership: Supervise and coordinate the activities of landscape technicians and assistants, providing guidance, training, and support as needed.

Quality Control: Monitor the quality of work performed by the team, making adjustments as necessary to meet or exceed industry standards and client expectations.

Client Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing any concerns or requests and ensuring a high level of satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.

Equipment and Material Management: Ensure that all equipment and materials are used efficiently and maintained properly.

System Installation: Install and configure new irrigation systems, including controllers, valves, and sprinkler heads, in accordance with design specifications and best practices.

Maintenance and Repairs: Perform regular maintenance on irrigation systems, including troubleshooting and repairing issues such as leaks, clogs, and malfunctions.

System Upgrades: Assess existing systems and recommend upgrades or modifications to improve efficiency and performance.

Client Interaction: Communicate with clients to understand their irrigation needs, provide recommendations, and address any concerns related to their systems.

Documentation: Maintain accurate records of installations, repairs, and maintenance activities, including parts and labor used.

Safety Compliance: Adhere to and enforce safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment for the team.

Qualifications:

Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in landscape maintenance, design, or management, with a proven track record of successful project execution. Experience in irrigation system installation, maintenance, and repair.

Skills: Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Strong technical knowledge of irrigation systems, including controllers, valves, sprinkler heads, and related components.

Knowledge: Proficiency in landscape design, plant identification, irrigation systems, and landscape maintenance techniques. Familiarity with industry best practices and standards for irrigation system installation and maintenance.

Certification: Relevant certifications or licenses are a plus. Relevant certifications (e.g., Irrigation Association Certified Irrigation Technician) are preferred but not required.

Communication: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with clients and team members.

Physical Requirements: Ability to perform physically demanding tasks and work in various weather conditions.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $35.00 per hour

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday
