Responsibilities:
- Prepare surfaces for painting by scraping, sanding, and priming
- Mix and match paint colors to achieve desired shades
- Apply paint or other finishes using brushes, rollers, or sprayers
- Cover surfaces with drop cloths or masking tape to protect surrounding areas
- Fill cracks, holes, and joints with caulk, putty, or other fillers
- Repair damaged drywall
- Use hand tools and power tools as necessary for the job
- Follow safety guidelines and maintain a clean work area
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a painter in a professional setting
- Familiarity with different painting techniques including airless paint spraying
- Basic carpentry skills for repairing damaged surfaces
- Attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Physical stamina to stand, bend, and lift for extended periods of time
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
