What are the responsibilities and job description for the Charge LVN - Admissions Nurse position at HumanGood?
Our Licensed Vocational Nurses/Licensed Practical Nurses (LVN/LPN) are responsible for the nursing needs of residents, while actively incorporating our “Philosophy for person-directed Care.” You will ensure a safe and healthy environment for residents, staff, and visitors to participate in the resident’s daily life rhythm. You would help develop assignments in coordination with the care partners and keep each team member accountable for resident care and satisfaction. Assist in the documentation and assessment process for new admits to our Health Center.
To Be Successful In The Role, You Would Have
Current LVN/LPN in the state for which applying
Current CPR certification
Prior nursing experience: senior care, skilled nurse, post-acute or sub-acute care preferred
Full Time Position
Department: Health Center
Starting Rate: $38.00 to $49.00 per hour Depending on experience
Work Duties
Assesses resident’s needs at the time of admission and continually evaluates residents’ condition during the duration of their stay and promotes the highest functional level of independence possible (keeping in compliance with state and federal regulations, and the community’s safety procedures).
Facilitates nursing care provided to all residents and includes residents in decision making processes.
In the supervisory role, the Nurse Supervisor takes responsibility to lead the CNA and LVN team and ensure that all procedures are followed during emergency situations.
Assures that nursing staff is carrying out their respective duties toward resident care, which includes monitoring call lights so that they are promptly answered; and other resident and family care needs are met appropriately and in a timely manner.
Actively engages residents in participation in daily activities which are part of resident’s rhythm of daily life (including desired hygiene, grooming, and mobility.
