Job Description:
The Inside Sales Manager will play a critical role in driving sales performance and providing exceptional client support. This is an exciting opportunity to be a key member of an established and expanding SaaS company. This role offers a competitive compensation package, including a base salary plus commission earnings.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute sales strategies, setting clear goals, tracking performance metrics, and continuously improving outcomes.
- Create accurate monthly and quarterly sales forecasts to support business planning.
- Identify, engage, and qualify prospective accounts through proactive research and outreach efforts.
- Collaborate with leadership to contribute to short-term and long-term sales strategies aligned with business objectives.
- Drive incremental sales growth by implementing and managing sales incentives, contests, and performance-enhancing initiatives.
- Oversee day-to-day sales operations, including call volume management, lead strategy execution, pipeline tracking, and meeting facilitation.
- Provide ongoing coaching, training, and support to sales representatives to enhance their skills and effectiveness.
- Utilize data-driven insights to test new sales approaches, fostering rapid innovation and optimization of sales processes.
- Lead the team through organizational changes, ensuring a smooth transition and effective adaptation.
- Remove barriers to success, serving as an escalation point to resolve challenges and streamline processes.
- Develop and implement strategies to build a high-performing sales team, aligning team objectives with company goals.
- Foster a culture of accountability by providing regular feedback and coaching on sales execution, forecasting accuracy, and problem-solving.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
- Minimum of 3 years in a sales management role, with experience leading teams (directly or indirectly).
- At least 5 years of SaaS sales experience with a track record of success.
- Strong analytical, strategic planning, and problem-solving skills with a deep understanding of sales metrics and methodologies.
- Proficiency in Salesforce, SalesLoft, and LinkedIn Sales Navigator.
- Demonstrated success in prospecting and engaging new accounts via phone, email, and social media.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Charismatic, intelligent, and positive 'can-do' attitude in remote interactions (phone, video calls, and email).
- Technically inclined with the ability to learn and adapt quickly.
- Excellent presentation and time management skills.
