We are seeking an experienced Advertising, Marketing & Promotions Associate or Counsel with at least seven years of relevant experience to join a top international law firm in its Bellevue, WA office. In this position, you will :

Draft and negotiate various advertising-related agreements, including influencer, celebrity endorsement, sponsorship, ad agency, and media buying contracts.
Review advertising content for compliance with false advertising, claim substantiation, intellectual property, and right of publicity laws.
Counsel clients on compliance for contests, sweepstakes, subscription programs, and loyalty / rewards programs.
Provide legal advice on marketing and consumer protection issues across a range of industries.
Defend clients against allegations of false advertising, unfair competition, and related regulatory challenges.
Stay ahead of emerging trends and legal developments in advertising and consumer protection law.

Ideal Candidate Profile

Experience and Expertise

Years of Practice : Minimum of 7 years of experience in advertising law, consumer protection, and marketing transactions.

Substantive Knowledge : Expertise in drafting and negotiating agreements and advising on compliance issues.

Preferred Background : Experience with false advertising, unfair competition, and National Advertising Division disputes is a plus.

Educational Credentials

Juris Doctor (JD) : Degree from an accredited law school with excellent academic credentials.

Bar Membership : Admission to the Washington State Bar is preferred but not required.

Outstanding legal research, writing, and oral communication skills.

Ability to manage multiple high-stakes projects and deliver exceptional client service.
