In this role, you would report to the Director, Talent Acquisition.
Responsibilities:
- Provide high-volume recruiting and staffing support to hiring managers and HR managers for a variety of technical and professional positions throughout the U.S.
- Proactively attract talent and develop top quality passive candidate pipelines to meet strategic hiring goals for designated line of business
- Lead talent strategy meetings with hiring managers
- Conduct phone screens to evaluate candidates against defined job criteria and recommend applicants based upon skills and experience
- Partner with managers to design and implement creative recruiting strategies
- Maintain strong partnerships and influence with business leaders, hiring managers, compensation, talent management leadership and HR Business Partners
- Schedule interviews for hiring team, including developing candidate travel itinerary and arranging travel plans
- Recommend hiring decisions to hiring managers and lend expertise that supports hiring of high-quality candidates
- Work across organizational boundaries to strengthen centralized staffing process and ensure implementation of recruiting and staffing methods to meet needs across all geographical locations
- Work with the field and recruiting teams to adjust recruiting practices to meet evolving staffing needs
- Serve as a brand ambassador by promoting Hussmann to potential candidates at various events (career fairs, information sessions etc.)
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in HR Management, Business Administration or related field strongly preferred
- A minimum of 2 years of Talent Acquisition experience required; 5 years’ experience preferred. Fast-paced, high volume recruitment experience preferred.
- Demonstrated ability with sourcing active and passive candidates using a variety of sourcing tools & techniques (i.e. Boolean search, aggregators, automation tools, LinkedIn Recruiter, really, etc.).
- Demonstrated proficiency with MS Office Suite and applicant tracking systems.
- Exceptional attention to detail, highly organized and skilled in managing priorities and coordinating multiple projects simultaneously.
- Self-awareness, strong influence skills, professionalism and ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Ability to apply a consultancy approach, challenge processes when needed while also effectively managing expectations of internal customers.
- Strong critical thinking abilities and solutions orientation.
- Excellent interpersonal (written and verbal); ability to effectively interact with all levels of management.
- Knowledge of recruiting best practices and employment law that impacts the TA function and affirmative action preferred.
- Proven experience in building and managing a diverse, candidate pipeline preferred.
- Experience with Canva preferred.
For candidates located in the St. Louis Metropolitan area, this role is eligible for a hybrid work schedule. For candidates located elsewhere, this role is eligible for a fully remote schedule with the ability to travel to our Bridgeton, MO Corporate Headquarters as needed.
The salary range of $53,900 - $100,100 is just one component of Hussmann’s total package. Actual compensation varies depending on the individual’s knowledge, skills, experience and location. This role may be eligible for discretionary bonuses and incentives. The minimum hourly wage for this role will be the greater of the posted range, or minimum wage for the location where the employee will be working, subject to local minimum wage requirements.
