Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and enthusiastic Assistant Event Coordinator to support our event planning and execution efforts. The ideal candidate is a proactive multitasker with excellent communication skills and a passion for creating memorable experiences. You will assist in organizing, coordinating, and managing various events, ensuring they run smoothly from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities:
Event Planning Support: Assist in the planning and organization of corporate events, social gatherings, conferences, and other special events.
Vendor Coordination: Communicate with vendors, suppliers, and venues to coordinate logistics, gather quotes, and confirm bookings.
Administrative Tasks: Manage event-related paperwork, including contracts, budgets, and schedules. Assist in maintaining event checklists and timelines.
On-site Support: Assist with event setup, registration, and breakdown. Act as a point of contact for guests, vendors, and staff during events.
Marketing & Promotion: Support the marketing team in promoting events through social media, email campaigns, and other channels.
Customer Service: Respond promptly to client inquiries, providing information and assistance as needed.
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and event management software (e.g., Eventbrite, Cvent).
- Ability to multitask and work effectively under pressure.
