Front Desk Agent - Night Auditor

As a Front Desk Agent - Night Auditor, you will be the face of our facility to our guests and patients. You will be responsible for the coordination of all front desk activities, including but not limited to: check-in/check-out, visitor relations, gift/alcohol sales, public affairs, recreational/social/event management, equipment rentals, housekeeping/cleaning services, special events, and representing the center to the community.
Responsibilities
Run reports and collect financial data for all hotel work for each day.
Organize receipts from outlets for accounting.
Processing H Market transactions and re-stocking inventory as needed.
Handle all computer end of day issues and problems that might occur throughout shift.
Check-in and check-out all guests in a timely manner to ensure guest satisfaction. Handle simple to complex calculations including credit cards and cash and notifying management of potential liabilities. Balancing all cash, check, credit card and ledger accounts through verification, shift reports and performing audit functions if assigned.
Greets and assists guests with directions to their room, meeting or event.
Maintaining accurate guest information in the hotel property management system as well as running audits confirming accuracy and addressing any discrepancies.
Entertains questions from guests and responds with appropriate and accurate information on topics such as outlet hours, local attractions, directions to events, etc.
Fields guest complaints, conducting thorough research to develop the most effective solutions and negotiates results. Listens and extend assistance in order to resolve problems such as price conflicts, insufficient heating or air conditioning, etc. Remains calm and alert especially during emergency situations and heavy hotel activity. Plans and implements detailed steps by using experienced judgment and discretion.
Maintains appearance of hotel lobby, removes trash, organizes furniture, etc. Other duties as assigned by Management.
Preparing and servicing the hotel breakfast buffet.
Regular attendance in conformance with the standards, which may be established by Hyatt House from time to time, is essential to the successful performance of this position.
Due to the cyclical nature of the hospitality industry, associates will be required to work varying schedules to reflect the business needs of the hotel – to include weekends and holidays.
ADDITIONAL JOB DUTIES
In addition to performance of the essential job duties, this position may be required to perform a combination of the following additional job duties, with the percentage of time performing each function to be solely determined by the supervisor based upon the particular requirements of the company.
· Frequently serves in role as night Manager on Duty
· Research all errors made in drops
· Complete all postings to accounts
· Attend all mandatory meetings
· Perform other duties and responsibilities as requested by the Controller
· Remains calm and alert, especially during emergency and / or heavy hotel activity, and resolves complications such as location changes or credit issues
· Assist in fire panel and safety protocols, directing guests in the event of an emergency
· Managing a multi-line phone system while providing exceptional customer service over the phone
· Handling and distributing guest packages and mail
· Uses the photocopier to make copies of items as required
· Follow all check-in and check-out procedures according to the manager
· Post all necessary charges to guest folios
· Other duties as assigned by management
· Attend departmental meetings
Assimilate into Hyatt House culture through understanding, supporting and participating in all event programs. Demonstrate working knowledge of the service standards.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Valid driver’s license with an excellent driving record.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Experience in a medical facility setting preferred but not required.

Pay: $22.00 - $24.00 per hour
