Hyatt Place Milford/New Haven is presently accepting applications for Guest Service Associate

What you will be doing

  • Assisting guests with Check In/Check Out
  • Answering front desk telephone and making reservations, as needed
  • Assisting guests with any questions, concerns, or requested amenities
  • Serving F&B at Hotel Bistro and Bar
  • Communicating with colleagues with Shift end Reports and Pass on information
  • Provide guest service that meets or exceed company standards.
  • Assisting GM/DOS with Social Media Management
  • Able to Work Weekdays/Weekends/ and or Holidays
  • Able to work AM or PM Shifts as decided by Management weekly

Requirements

  • Strong interpersonal/leadership skills, professional caring approach towards colleagues and guests.
  • "Guest First" approach.
  • Previous hotel desk experience preferred
  • Experience in cash handling, accounting, and hotel Property Management Systems (OPERA)
  • Must Have a USA State Issued Valid Drivers License
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the USA Desirable Qualifications: Previous experience in a limited or full-service hotel.

Expected hours: 36 – 40 per week
