The Hyde Park Restaurant Group is seeking an Administrative Assistant to work at our corporate office in Beachwood, OH that support the human resource department. We are a stable company with 12 properties in 5 states and have been in business for over 36 years! We are growing and looking for additional support roles.
SUMMARY: This role is purely administrative in nature, and entails assisting any department in day-to-day operations. Only local candidates with administrative experience will be considered. This is a full-time, in-person, salaried role at our corporate office. The position entails a 5-day work week, Monday-Friday, 8:30-5:30.
Administrative Assistant Job Duties:
- Proofreading manuals, documents, memos, and letters
- Responding to unemployment claims and sending out information as well as logging and retaining information
- Records keeping and logging of items such as guest incident, worker comp, documents, OHSA Logs and personal files
- Organizing meetings, conference calls using Microsoft Outlook as well as go to meetings
- Preparing training materials and items for orientations
- Travel booking hotels, flights, rental cars and other travel
- Completing and retaining expense reports for travel as well as other expenses
- Auditing licenses, posters, trainings, open enrollments, referrals
- Following-up on, insurance forms and other human resource items as well as ensuring that all have supporting materials
- Preparing external meetings by ensuring they have all the information necessary to be productive and engaged.
- Completing verifications, wage summary and letter upon request
- Assisting in communications by drafting updates, reports, presentations, and other marketing materials utilizing spreadsheets, databases, and other publishing applications
- Helping facilitate completion of special projects by organizing, coordinating information, and communicating requirements
- Utilizing email, electronic calendars, and other office support software for time management and meeting coordination.
- Updating and prepare training materials as well as onboarding materials
- Data entry
Skills/ Qualifications of the Executive Assistant:
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Strong time management skills and organizational skills
- Must have excellent proof reading skills
- Highest level of integrity and management of confidential information
- Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to communicate clearly and concisely to intended audiences
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet strict deadlines, work from a list
- Ability to recognize, create, and take initiative on upcoming opportunities to achieve organizational objectives
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- 1 years of experience
