Summary
The Testing Manager will play a pivotal role in overseeing and managing all testing activities across our product portfolio. This includes UL Testing, new product development tests, and manufacturing partner testing for finished products, ensuring compliance with all relevant electrical and safety standards. The position will also involve developing, maintaining, and ensuring the compliance of our Testing Lab at the Hyper Hub in Richmond, Virginia. With a strong focus on the Data Center Market, the successful candidate will ensure that our products meet the high-performance standards demanded by this critical industry, from reliability and efficiency to compliance and safety.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Testing Program Leadership:
- Oversee all testing activities including UL Testing, new product development, and manufacturing partner testing for finished products.
- Ensure products meet strict electrical testing compliance standards and certifications necessary for data center applications.
Lab Development and Compliance:
- Develop, implement, and continuously improve testing procedures and protocols.
- Manage the operation and compliance of the Testing Lab at our Hyper Hub in Richmond, ensuring adherence to industry standards and regulatory requirements.
Manufacturing Partner Testing Compliance Oversight:
- Develop and manage processes to ensure that all manufacturing partners adhere to Hyper Solutions Inc’s testing protocols and quality standards.
- Conduct periodic audits and assessments of partner testing procedures to verify compliance.
- Collaborate with partner quality teams to resolve testing compliance issues and drive continuous improvement.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for testing compliance matters with manufacturing partners.
New Product Development:
- Collaborate with the product development team to tailor testing protocols for data centerspecific requirements, such as highdensity power distribution, thermal management, and continuous operational reliability.
- Rigorously test products under conditions typical of data center environments, including load variations, redundancy demands, and integration with critical IT infrastructure.
- Monitor emerging industry standards and best practices in data center operations to integrate into our testing framework.
Quality Assurance & Compliance:
- Establish and maintain testing benchmarks and criteria to evaluate product performance and safety.
- Collaborate with engineering and product development teams to troubleshoot and resolve testing issues, ensuring optimal performance in highdemand environments.
- Maintain meticulous testing documentation, certifications, and compliance records.
SOPs and Final Accepting Test (FAT) Support:
- Partner with the Quality Department to develop, implement, and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for testing activities, ensuring consistency and compliance across all processes.
- Assist in the creation and execution of Final Accepting Test procedures, including the development of detailed test plans.
- Generate comprehensive FAT reports that document test results and support product acceptance decisions.
- Continuously review and refine SOPs and FAT documentation to align with industry best practices and evolving quality standards.
Collaboration and Training:
- Provide training and support to manufacturing partners on advanced testing procedures and best practices tailored for the data center market.
- Work collaboratively with crossfunctional teams to support new product introductions and production startups, ensuring that all testing procedures align with rigorous data center demands.
- Travel to customer sites to commission installations and address technical issues, ensuring toptier product performance and customer satisfaction.
Continuous Improvement:
- Stay current with industry trends, testing methodologies, and regulatory changes, especially those impacting the data center market.
- Propose and implement enhancements to testing processes to boost efficiency, product reliability, and compliance with evolving standards.
Leadership and Collaboration:
- Team up with quality engineers and lead and supervise Quality/Testing Technicians.
- Collaborate with design, production, and supply chain teams to ensure product compliance and electrical testing safety requirements are met.
- Provide guidance on Testingrelated matters to other departments.

Qualifications
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in electrical testing, product development, or quality assurance within a manufacturing environment.
- Prior experience managing a testing lab or quality assurance team is strongly preferred.
Technical Skills:
- Indepth knowledge of UL testing standards, electrical testing protocols, and compliance regulations.
- Familiarity with data center operational requirements, including highdensity power systems, redundancy, and thermal management.
- Proficient with test equipment, data analysis software, and quality management systems.
- Strong problemsolving skills and the ability to rapidly diagnose and resolve testing issues.
Interpersonal Skills:
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively train and guide teams.
- Strong organizational and project management abilities.
- Proven capability to work collaboratively in a fastpaced, distributed manufacturing environment.
Travel Requirements:
- It must be local to Richmond, Virginia, and willing to travel to manufacturing partners and customer sites as required.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in engineering or a related field.
- Certifications for Continuous Improvement methodologies (e.g., Six Sigma Black Belt, Lean Manufacturing).
- Experience with statistical analysis software and management of software and firmwware.
- Familiarity with Industry 4.0 technologies and practices.
Supervisory Responsibilities
Indirectly supervises the manufacturing partner testing crew, Testing Technician in Hyper Hub and ensures third party compliance with Hyper Testing Requirements.
