The Role
The Sr. Manager, IT Enterprise Architecture is responsible for designing, planning, and overseeing the implementation of enterprise-wide IT systems and infrastructure.
Responsibilities
- Strategic IT Planning and Enterprise Architecture Design: Develop and maintain the enterprise IT architecture roadmap.
- Technology Standards and Governance: Establish and enforce IT architecture standards, policies, and best practices.
- Cross Department Collaboration: Collaborate with HCA IT's architecture community to ensure completeness of technical solutions.
- Innovation and Emerging Technologies: Research and evaluate emerging technologies and their potential impact on the organization.
- Continuous Improvement: Analyze existing IT systems and processes to identify areas for improvement.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
- 15 years of IT and business/industry work experience including architecture design and deployment.
- Experience in cloud computing frameworks such as SaaS, PaaS, IaaS.
- Three years supervisory experience managing multiple, large, cross-functional teams.
Work Environment
Employees in this class are subject to extended periods of sitting, standing and walking, vision to monitor and moderate noise levels.
Work is performed in an office environment.
