What Will You Do
The Senior Counsel – Regulatory and General Litigation will support the General Counsel in managing legal compliance and litigation matters, collaborating with PI/Legal Team Meta Pros to achieve departmental objectives.
- Provide legal counsel on compliance matters, ensuring adherence to applicable laws and regulations.
- Develop and implement legal compliance policies, procedures, and systems to enhance regulatory compliance.
- Conduct legal compliance risk assessments and oversee compliance hotline monitoring.
- Lead internal legal investigations and prepare internal investigation reports.
- Perform legal audits to assess and improve legal compliance.
- Advise on business partner code of conduct compliance and governmental affairs compliance matters.
- Deliver legal training sessions to educate Meta Pros on relevant laws and regulations.
- Manage company litigation, including strategy development and case oversight.
- Coordinate with PI/Legal staff to handle service of process and subpoena responses.
- Draft legal memoranda and provide strategic legal guidance to HMGMA’s General Counsel, executives, and other departments.
- Oversee the company’s e-discovery system and ensure compliance with document retention policies.
- Monitor and report on legal and regulatory developments that may impact the company.
- Always display exemplary ethical behavior, including: (1) being free of undue influence and conflicts of interest; (2) strictly complying with HMGMA policies and procedures; (3) being honest, transparent, and accountable; (4) report all known illegal or unethical behavior; and (5) protecting confidential information.
- Perform all other duties as assigned by the General Counsel.

Required
What Will You Bring To The Role:
- Juris Doctor Degree from an ABA-accredited Law School required.
- Excellent academic credentials (Top 30% of law school class preferred)
- 6 – 10 years of job-related experience preferred
