What are the responsibilities and job description for the KD Administrator position at Hyundai Transys Georgia Seating System, LLC?

Summary of Position:

The CKD Specialist will be responsible for all incoming receiving and current inventory in the plant. The successful candidate will be familiar with the automotive industry and inventory control in general.

Corporate:

  • Adheres to the HTSAV policies and procedures
  • Learns, demonstrates and upholds HTSAV Core Values
  • Complies with all HTSAV Certification standards; Management System (TS16949), Environmental ISO 14001-2015 and Health and Safety ISO 45001-2018 policies and procedures
  • Treats all HTSAV team members with respect and professional courtesy
  • Always strives to maintain a positive work environment
  • Manages the department budget efficiently as per the approved annual budget
  • Performs additional assignments / duties as assigned

EHS

  • Adhere to all safety policies and procedures
  • Complies with all safety policies and 5S clean philosophy to maintain a safe, clean working environment
  • Meets company safety goals

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • FIFO of line inventory
  • System entry for shipping / receiving
  • Conduct Cycle Count inventory processes to ensure accuracy and timely execution
  • Maintain and evaluate inventory records monthly
  • Assisting Aftermarket Services as needed
  • Ensure 5-S is adhered to properly
  • Follow requirements of Quality policy, ISO/TS16949
  • Follow all safety policies
  • Must adhere to the anti-mutilation policy
  • Other duties as assigned


Technical Skills Required:

  • Must have excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
  • Must have excellent multitasking skills
  • Must have strong ability to quickly prioritize situations and mitigate all issues
  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office products and SAP
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills
  • Knowledge in Lean Six Sigma would be a plus

  • May be required to lift and carry objects weighing up to 50 lbs.
  • Required to use close vision and be able to focus
  • Ability to work extended hours as needed
  • Required to wear PPE as required in each area

The employee generally works in indoor office and warehouse environments.

Position Requirements and Qualifications

  • 1 years’ experience in inventory management or related field in automotive manufacturing

Education:

  • High school diploma/GED preferred


Technical Skills Required

  • Working knowledge of MS Office, Word, Excel
  • Knowledge of SAP and MES systems
  • Able to work in a rapidly changing environment
  • Ability to process time sensitive information and orders and meet deadlines
  • Ability to multi-task when necessary and prioritize tasks
  • Ability to accurately communicate to co-workers and management
  • Ability to complete all necessary tasks before end of shift
  • Ability to lead other to ensure customer requirements are met
