About this role: Wells Fargo is looking for an experienced Operations Processor to join the Commercial Distribution Finance team in London. The main focus of this role is to ensure the accuracy and timeliness of invoice, cash, participations, and funding activities across EMEA. Working closely with the offshore team, the position emphasizes delivering exceptional services to customers. Additionally, you will support the CDF Treasury function by assisting with payment processing and forecasting needs. As a subject matter expert, your responsibilities will include handling invoicing, cash management, participations, treasury operations, and funding activities. You will also be involved in evaluating current processes, identifying automation and simplification opportunities, and leveraging Global Operations knowledge. In this pivotal role within Operations, you will be instrumental in decision-making, resolving frontline queries, building relationships, and collaborating with various departments within CDF EMEA (Risk, Commercial, Controllership, IT). Furthermore, you will serve as the primary contact for audits and business process mapping initiatives, demonstrating a thorough understanding of the operational landscape. In this role, you will: Ensure all invoice, cash, participations and funding activities across EMEA are undertaking in an accurate and timely manner by our offshore Team providing best in class services to our customers. Provide regular support to the CDF Treasury function by supporting payment processing and forecasting requirements. Work in conjunction with the outsourced team key point of contacts to review Key Performance Indicators, workload, outstanding queries and Team Member training needs. Handle the invoicing, cash management, participations, treasury operations, and funding activities. Evaluating current processes, identifying opportunities for automation and simplification, and utilizing Global Operations knowledge. Utilize data and metrics to drive efficiency improvements, leading small to medium projects independently, adhering to timelines, and ensuring transparent progress reporting and escalation communication. Be a main point of contact for internal & external audits, control testing by internal stakeholders, and Business Process Mapping activities. Monitor the offshore Operations Team by reviewing daily activities, participating in weekly performance dashboard reviews. Raise concerns, improvement ideas, establish clear actions & follow ups. Identify training and process improvement needs to further enhance the internal and/or external customer experience ensuring accurate & timely processing and query resolution. Escalating internally & cross functionally as and when required. Identify and drive process simplification. Ensure processes are executed and maintained in line with regulatory and WF standards at all times and ensure that records are maintained to the highest standard. Maintain and ensure adherence to Standard Operating Procedures and Business Continuity Planning to ensure that procedures are updated to reflect operating practices. Work with other departments, including Commercial, Risk and Controllership to maintain and improve awareness and understanding of the Operations requirements. Required Qualifications: Experience in operations support, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education. Ability to perform all invoicing, funding, treasury, & cash processing activities. Be seen as subject matter expert being able to resolve queries. Attention to details, problem solving attitude, strong organisational skills, improvement mind set, proactive in identifying improvement & efficiency opportunities. Ability to work under time pressure. Ability to work independently and as a wider Team Member with minimal supervision. Ability to make decisions within the agreed boundaries with minimal supervision and communicate effectively with internal and external customers – a strong team player. Able to display a positive attitude and flexible approach to assigned tasks with a desire to learn and grow within the organisation. The ability to establish strong partnerships at all levels and the ability to influence key stakeholders internally/externally. Strong knowledge of MS Excel including ability to create pivot tables to manage and analyze data is essential.
