Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Desktop Support Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide technical assistance and support for incoming queries and issues related to computer systems, software, and hardware.
Responsibilities
- Install, diagnose, repair, maintain, and upgrade hardware and software
- Troubleshoot desktop system issues, including networking problems
- Set up and configure new laptops and desktops
- Collaborate with network administrators to ensure efficient operation of the company's IT infrastructure
- Manage computer management systems
- Analyze IT requirements within companies and give independent and objective advice on the use of IT
- Provide support for Linux, Windows, DNS, Jira, ServiceNow, VPN, and other applications
Requirements
- Proven work experience as a Desktop Support Technician or similar role
- Strong knowledge of network administration and IT infrastructure
- Ability to analyze complex technical information
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Familiarity with Linux, Windows operating systems, DNS, Jira, ServiceNow, VPNs
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
