Overall Responsibilities
IAAPA is seeking a Design Services Specialist who would be responsible for conceptualization and implementation of web, social, and print design solutions that meet global and regional strategies from concept to completion. This position requires organizational, project management, strategy, and communication skills. The scope of work flows between designing for current products and services, special projects, receiving and responding to feedback from multiple stakeholders, and reviewing and archiving finished assets.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Conceptualize, design, and implement creative graphics and content, both print and digital, on time and within budget.
- Develop and design layouts, inclusive of copy and images for marketing collateral (PDF and PPT), digital ads, onsite promotional materials (banners, printed collateral), etc.
- Assist global marketing team with edits to digital assets (email, landing pages, content downloads).
- Create layouts, edit videos and graphics for social media channels such as Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, LinkedIn, and Instagram.
- Assist Editorial team on creation of house ads for member benefits and events.
- Assist sales team with Media Kit, Exhibitor Prospectus and other sales collateral as needed.
- Update existing presentations and collateral; maintain library of existing assets and management global brand toolkit.
- Coordinate with the online services and sales departments to confirm program objectives, creative direction, and brand consistency.
- Manage design revisions and approval of artwork and information accuracy.
- Manage utilization and archive of all project artwork.
Qualification, Knowledge, Skills Required
- College degree in graphic design or related course study
- Possess a solid understanding of design principles (grid, layouts, typography, color, whitespace, alignment, hierarchy), an understanding of current design trends, printing procedures, photography, film, and illustration.
- Advanced knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator.
- Experience with animation and motion graphics (Adobe Premier, After Effects) desirable.
- Experience with Html/CSS is a plus, but not required.
- Experience in magazine/publication design is a plus, but also not required.
- A self-starter who knows what needs to be done and operates with urgency, focus, and discipline.
- Excellent communication skills – written, verbal, presentation, and interpersonal.
- Strong team player who can build strong relationships within all levels of the organization.

ADA Specifications
- This position is primarily sedentary based in Orlando, FL HQ, with limited overnight travel as assigned and approved.
- There are periods during conferences and shows where you will be required to walk and stand for long periods, bend, and lift to 45 pounds, and work weekends and after hours.
