What are the responsibilities and job description for the Production Assembler position at IAG Performance?
Job Summary – The Production Assembler is responsible for assisting with the assembly of products within a growing Automotive Retail and E-commerce business. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, part assembly and sub-assembly, part preparation, cleaning, and boxing.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities (included but not limited to):
- Assembly of Parts
- Preparation of Parts for Assembly, Including Deburring and Washing
- Packaging of Sub-Assemblies, Parts and Hardware
- Boxing and Labeling of Parts
- Hose Cutting, Cleaning and Assembly
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
- Organization – proactively prioritized needs and effectively manages resources.
- Communication – communicates clearly and concisely.
- Ability to use Basic Measuring Devices (Calipers, Tape Measure, Scales).
- PC skills – Basic PC Skills Required
- Technical skills – Experience with Inventory and Fork Lift a plus.
- Physical Ability – Must be able to lift 50lbs.
Experience
- Experience: Experience is preferred but not required.
