Job Description
The position of Shipping and Receiving supervisor consists of the supervision of shipping, receiving, and material handling employees and department duties, which includes but not limited to, loading and unloading HVAC units and parts, processing incoming and outgoing paperwork and computer entry, material handling of equipment and small parts, obtaining quotes and scheduling of freight loads, processing small package shipments (UPS, FedEx, etc.), and maintaining a clean and organized facility (inside and out).

iAIRE, LLC is a custom HVAC manufacturer that deals with commercial dedicated outside air units and custom HVAC accessories including but not limited to; Solar HVAC, DOAS Units, Energy Recovery Ventilators, outside air hoods, economizer controllers, and other custom projects.

Duties And Responsibilities

- Assign tasks to employees and ensure tasks are complete.
- Ensure employees are productive while following safety procedures.
- Comply with Company and OSHA policies; participate in safety and accident preventative meetings.
- Ensure employees wear safety equipment, in accordance with iAIRE and OSHA policies and procedures.
- Ensure loading and unloading trucks done in safe manner
- Process Receivers on computer
- Ensure movement of Large HVAC Equipment done in safe manner
- Work with Freight Logistics Companies to obtain freight quotes, and schedule shipments
- Oversee packaging and processing of small package shipments (UPS, FedEx, etc.)
- Organization of assigned department space (inside and outside)
- Maintaining a Clean Facility
- Other duties may be assigned to meet business needs.
- Ability to operate forklift
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Two years shipping & receiving experience
- Previous supervisory experience
- Effective problem-solving ability
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to organize, plan and prioritize duties
- Ability to use Microsoft Office products like Outlook, Word, Excel Basics (No Formulas)
- Ability to communicate effectively with English and Spanish speaking employees
