What are the responsibilities and job description for the Admin Assistant position at IAP?
Essential Duties:
- Create Standard Operating Procedures as needed.
- Create flowcharts to define various processes as necessary.
- Update and maintain the documentation of ISO forms and procedures.
- Assist in performing internal ISO audits as required.
- Perform internal quality system audits as required.
- Assist in the gathering, documenting and recording of quality data.
- Create various charts/graphs as necessary to assist in the analyzing of quality data and statistics.
- Help to ensure all company and customers’ required audits are performed and recorded as required.
- Ensure that QC/ISO documentation is available, current and maintained as required.
- Maintain a safe working environment and follow all policies and procedures regarding safety.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Shift: Monday–Friday 7:00am – 3:30pm with possible overtime and/or weekend work as needed.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Valid US Driver’s License
- Obtain and maintain a Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC Badge) issued by the Department of Homeland Security
- 1 year of experience in Auto Port Processing Operations
- Drive both automatic and straight shift vehicles.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Ability to work with various computer programs such as Word, Excel, Access and Visio.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Must have demonstrated commitment to safety.
- Ability to effectively communicate, understand and follow verbal and written instructions.
- Must possess problem-solving abilities and be detail oriented.
Physical Working Attributes:
- Work from inside office environment to being exposed to all outdoor elements including heat, cold, rain, insects and other conditions which may exist from time to time.
