While featuring two-state-of-art showrooms, a VIP Lounge, an indoor bar and terrace bar the venue will host a variety of events throughout the week. Comedy’s top comedians will continue to showcase their talents onstage along with live music performances, DJ’s and a wide range of other year-round entertainment.

Job Description:
We are seeking two bright and driven hosts to join our team. The hosts are responsible for providing excellent customer service by creating a personable and memorable experience for patrons. These individuals will be responsible for seating guests in both show rooms and providing directions/instructions for our shows. Hosts will cover entrances of both the general showroom and VIP lounge.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Dress professionally in clean and presentable attire, and never forgetting to wear a smile.
- Promptly and warmly greet and direct guests to their reserved table or seating arrangements.
- Bids farewell to guests, using their name when known and encouraging them to return to
- Reviewing and committing to memory the profiles of VIP guests expected for the day
- Serve as a resource of information for VIP clients regarding their experience within the Ice House
- Provide assistance for VIP clients regarding the timing of their arrival
- Building and maintaining a relationship with tenants and repeat guests, enhancing their overall experience
- Working in tandem with team members and other building personnel, always ensuring smooth transitions at each stage of guest’s journey
- Exhibit exceptional communications skills, gets along well with others, demonstrates flexibility and patience, shows an interest in people.
- Supervise the activities of food-service associates in the dining room to ensure proper customer service, food handling and sanitation procedures are followed.
- Ensure side work and station setup is properly completed.
- Monitor closing duties for the assigned show room.
- Demonstrate knowledge of emergency safety procedures and help evacuate guests to safety in the event of fire or other emergencies.
- Assist with venue cleanliness, set-up, take down, occasional bussing and food service, while maintaining safe food handling and sanitation standards.
- Assist with food and drink delivery when called upon.
- Occasionally operate equipment, including but not limited to POS system, telephones, soda machines, fire extinguishers etc.
- Ability to remember, recite, and promote menu items.
- Ability to effectively deal with customer complaints and concerns in a friendly and positive manner.
- Work with staff of other departments to perform job duties and during special events or functions.
- Knowledge of venue operations.
- Guide guests to different areas of the venue
- Maintain a high level of visibility throughout the facility.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Two years’ experience in hospitality working in a high-volume club
- Outgoing personality, strong team player, quick and consistent.
- Calm under pressure.
- Attention to details and dependable.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Can move at a quick pace for the duration of the shift.
- Comfortable working in a loud environment.
- Possesses an "Of Service" mindset.
- Able to work flexible schedules including weekend and holidays.
- Can work cohesively with co-works and is a team player.
- Maintains a professional, neat and well-groomed appearance that adheres to club standards.

Positions at this location require a COVID-19 vaccination.
