As An On-Call Creative Director, You Will

  • Work zero to 30 hours per week, depending on our overflow work and project needs.
  • Manage, lead, and work collaboratively with an art director, designer, copywriter, and the larger team to generate unique concepts and approaches
  • Help develop strategic directions for clients
  • Ability to present and sell ideas and copy in a persuasive way
  • Working on several campaigns at once, under pressure and to tight deadlines
  • Overseeing campaigns through the production stage to completion
  • Casting actors for TV and radio work
  • Liaising with production companies, editors, photographers, animators, etc.
  • Meeting the account and project management team to discuss client requirements and product background

  • Ability to weave audience insight and strategy through creative concept, and articulate same
  • Understand the difference between concept and execution
  • Uplevel the work and thinking overall through team and account leadership
  • Take ownership of the team, process and product at every touchpoint
  • Ability to develop insight based on audience, market research
  • Ability to work with strategist, account team, client to develop strategic platform for the work that informs concept
  • Ability to comprehend, create and adhere to clear brand specific guidelines
  • Balance multiple projects successfully
  • Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to work with people at all levels as well as within a team
  • Ability to receive critical feedback and provide revisions accordingly

Required Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 12 years of relevant experience (preferably agency or design firm), to include experience in digital, video, social, campaign, earned and other platforms, experience in energy, sustainability and power company/utility marketing or related industry, and experience in using emerging Ai applications both in static and dynamic forms
  • Strong portfolio of past conceptual work

Preferred Qualifications

  • Copywriting background highly preferred

Pay Range - There are multiple factors that are considered in determining final pay for a position, including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location, education and certifications as well as contract provisions regarding labor categories that are specific to the position.

The pay range for this position based on full-time employment is:

$89,203.00 - $151,646.00
