Ichiban steak house Robinson location is looking for a Chefs to join our team. We are looking for a Chef to prepare delicious meals that will please our customers and make them want to return for more. We are looking for a Chef with great people skills who can deal with people in a positive way. We want someone who can be creative and has great communication skills. Our Chef must be able to work as part of a team and lead the kitchen staff during meals. The goal is to provide customers with high quality dishes that will make them want to come back for more.
Responsibilities
- Prepare delicious plates of food that meets Ichiban steak house Robinson location standards
- Work under the chef in planning menus and executing them when necessary
- Clean up station and help in restocking when needed
- Resolve any food-related problems that may arise (e.g. temperature issues)
- Help maintain product quality by following our safety and sanitation procedures
Requirements and Qualifications: A degree in Culinary Science or related field is preferred, but not required. Experience in the industry is helpful, but we are willing to train the right person. The ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 lbs., and work on your feet during an entire shift is required. The ability to listen well and communicate effectively with staff, customers, and other kitchen staff is also essential.
