Restaurant Host

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Hosts to join our team at Ichiban Charleston! Must have at restaurant and customer service experience. Must be 17 and older to apply. • Prior customer service or hosting experience in the restaurant industry
• Positive attitude and interpersonal skills
• Good communication skills and professional phone etiquette
• Flexibility when working alternating shifts
• Ability to multitask
• Ability to stand for long periods of time

Job Description:

• Greeting customers in a friendly and professional manner as they walk into the restaurant
• Placing customer takeout orders and ensuring all orders are correctly placed.
• Helping guests with reservations and guiding them to their table
• Giving guests accurate wait time estimates and seating them in the waiting area
• Providing customers with menus and answering any initial questions they may have
• Optimizing seating at different tables to ensure even workload for wait staff
• Answering phones and scheduling reservations with large parties

Pay Rate: Starting at $9 an Hour

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $9.00 per hour
