ICL, a leading global specialty minerals and chemicals company, is currently seeking an experienced Accounts Payables Specialist to join our team in Fresno, CA. The Accounts Payables Specialist will work closely with the Finance Manager, accounting staff, purchasing agent, inventory control specialist, and other stakeholders to ensure the successful accounts payables management of ICL – CAF Fresno and ICL - CAF Adel plants in Fresno, CA and Adel, GA.

I’m interested! What will I get to do in this position?
- Maintain the full cycle accounts payable process to include:
- Verify and process vendor invoices, using three-way matching, to ensure they are accurate and authorized.
- Prepare and process payments to vendors, adhering to payment terms and deadlines.
- Maintain accurate and organized records of invoices, payments, and vendor information.
- Reconciling invoices with purchase orders and receiving reports to ensure accuracy.
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies or issues related to invoices or payments.
- Maintain positive relationships with vendors and addressing any issues that may arise.
- Accurately entering financial data into accounting software to include proper coding of expenses.
- Contribute to the efficient management of cash flow by ensuring timely payments.
- Reconcile balance sheet accounts monthly to ensure accuracy.
- Assist with tracking Capital Expenditures monthly to ensure accuracy.
- Print checks and obtain required authorized signatures.
- Assist with form 1099 preparation.
- Manage customer master data file for accounts receivables using established procedures and guidelines. (segregation of duties)
- Maintain and complete required SOX internal controls.
- Participate in ad-hoc projects and other duties as assigned.
What skills and experience do I need to be successful in this role?
- High school diploma or equivalency required.
- Minimum of 2 years of accounts payable experience, with at least 1 year of full cycle experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders, to include presentation skills.
- Experience with ERP systems, preferably QuickBooks and SAP.
- Experience with AP workflow management software preferred. Ability to work independently, prioritize multiple tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Compensation at ICL: If you are hired at ICL, your final base salary compensation will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, and/or experience. We also offer a generous benefits package (more information on benefits listed below).
Salary Range: $24.50 - $33.50 per hour
