- Perform reconciliations of accounts payable ledgers and resolve discrepancies as needed.
- Assist with the preparation of financial reports related to accounts payable activities.
- Collaborate with other departments to gather necessary documentation for payments.
- Ensure compliance with corporate accounting policies and governmental accounting regulations.
- Utilize accounting software for data entry and management of financial records.
- Support benefits administration by processing related invoices and payments.
- Stay updated on tax regulations that may impact accounts payable processes.
Requirements
- Proficiency in debits and credits, with a solid understanding of corporate accounting principles.
- Experience with accounting software is essential; familiarity with governmental accounting is a plus.
- Strong data entry skills, including 10 key typing proficiency for efficient processing of invoices.
- Knowledge of financial concepts and practices relevant to accounts payable functions.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively.

- Prior experience in an accounts payable role is preferred but not mandatory.
