What are the responsibilities and job description for the Warehouse Lead position at ICR Integrity Ltd?
We are looking for a full time Warehouse Lead to join the team in Houston.
The Warehouse Lead will manage the day to day functions of the warehouse, including receipt of stock, booking in stock, allocating storage area, picking orders and making deliveries. The Warehouse Lead will facilitate the shipping of products and equipment to domestic and international locations. Process logistics requirement and oversee the cycle of order fulfilment. Responsible for ensuring stipulated supplies, stock, materials, packages and/or products are processed to customer final destination efficiently and safely.
The main tasks and responsibilities of the role include, but are not limited to the following:
Main tasks:
Support the Operations teams with materials planning, inventory management, procurement and supply chain, including operational hands-on warehouse activities and management.
Receiving goods into the Warehouse and checking the condition of goods received and, if not acceptable, advising relevant Project Manager/Coordinator.
Checking the goods received against the Import Suppliers Delivery Note. Signing all Delivery Notes.
Recording batch numbers of materials, where required, both on receipt and on withdrawal on the relevant forms.
Reviewing appropriate levels of stock e.g. resins/PPE/tools/cloths and ensure they are stored in appropriate conditions.
Carrying out and supervising ad-hoc stock takes as well as stock rotation as necessary.
Checking and recording batch numbers of resins received and ensure proper storage of chemicals.
Overall responsibility for keeping heated stores in a clean and tidy condition at all times.
Responsible for ensuring that all dangerous materials are identified.
Prepare and/or coordinate hazardous materials documentation as required by Air, Sea and Road Freight regulations.
Checking and arranging sample tests of new resins.
Participate in out of hours service as and when required.
Adhering to business processes and correct use of IMS.
Taking reasonable care for the health and safety of themselves and colleagues. Decanting of materials.
Wiring and PAT Test and Functional Test of all equipment.
Training of other Warehouse staff in Composite products.
Operate Forklift as required.
Maintenance of equipment as required.
Other product line servicing/demobbing etc.
Key responsibilities:
Create dispatch paperwork via SAP for the dispatch of Sales.
Arrange / ensure that all paperwork is in place for the shipment of products and equipment.
Arrange for all transportation in a planned and timely manner to meet transportation deadlines.
Ensure that the most economical costs are obtained for transportation to meet planned delivery date.
Key skills, attributes and experience:
Knowledge of/experience with hands-on operations and technical products, warehouse management and service delivery Mechanical background, experience and understanding preferred
Knowledge of CRMs (preferably SAP) is essential Knowledge of warehouse HSEQ requirements is essential Preference would be given to those with previous knowledge / experience or certification in the shipment of Dangerous Goods
Forklift certificates preferable Strong organisational and planning skills
Demonstrable track record at problem solving and working to tight deadlines
Ability to interact with people at all levels of the organization and external contacts
Time Management skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to build relationships with internal and external clients
Experience in using a wide range of IT software including email, Excel spread sheets and Word
Ability to work on own initiative and self-manage own workload and those of others as required
Sets high standards in quality of work and excellent attention to detail
Flexibility and the willingness to contribute to new ideas and processes is a must
