Maintenance Foreman

Job Requirements

• Plan and direct the daily operations for the Company maintenance crew.
• 3-5 years of management experience
• In partnership with Safety and Environmental staff, continue to develop, promote, and maintain high levels of performance throughout the operation to ensure compliance.
• Direct production efforts in the most cost-efficient manner and maximize the utilization of equipment.
• Proactively troubleshoot and resolve operational, manufacturing, and maintenance problems to ensure minimum costs and maximum availability.
• Hands on repair of plant equipment, knowledge of safety requirements required operating a rock and sand mining operation.
• Good communication skills working with others, organizing other mine and quarry personnel to perform tasks. Take lead of existing maintenance repair crew to complete required daily duties.
• Good written skills while performing needed plant reports, ordering materials, and repair logs.
• Must be able to use hand tools required for all plant maintenance, repair, and new installations.
• Identify opportunities, develop strategies, and execute the plan for operational improvement.
• Experience and knowledge of modern maintenance technology and methods.
• Sound knowledge of Part 46 MSHA safety training / OSHA regulations, environmental regulations as they apply within mining and processing operations.
